Hari Narayanan

Hari Narayanan has over 10 years of experience in data science, operations research engineering, software engineering, and analytics. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Data Scientist at dotData | Accelerate Data Science. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Data Scientist - Manufacturing at Ford Motor Company, where they deployed supervised and unsupervised machine learning models for sequence data and Markovian simulation models and statistical process control models in Python. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Operations Research Engineer (R&D) at General Motors, where they developed genetic algorithms in C++ and applied reinforcement learning approaches to improve model performance. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Clemson University, where they performed analytic epidemiology and randomized control trial studies to identify the efficacy of intervention strategies for diabetes. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they co-developed Enterprise Print Services and initiated cost-cutting projects for a leading US-based financial institution. In 2011, they completed an internship at Tata Consultancy Services - iON Project.

Hari Narayanan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Studies from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy between 2008 and 2012. Hari then obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University between 2014 and 2015.
