Kentaro Iwasa

Kentaro Iwasa has worked in various roles in the banking and technology sectors. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Product Manager at dotData. From 2021 to present, they have been working as a Solution Lead at the Digital Transformation Systems Department of \uff08\u682a\uff09\u65e5\u672c\u7dcf\u5408\u7814\u7a76\u6240, where their duties include promoting digital transformation in Japanese banks by adopting agile ways, cloud solutions, and other new technologies such as AI and data analytics. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior System Analyst at the Asia Innovation Center of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Asia Pacific, where they were experienced in digital banking projects in Singapore and Indonesia, researched new technology trends and suitable fintech solutions for digital banks, and developed prototype apps with new technologies such as AI and face recognition. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Project Manager at the International Systems Development Department I of \uff08\u682a\uff09\u65e5\u672c\u7dcf\u5408\u7814\u7a76\u6240, where their duties included managing core banking system and payment system projects for SMBC Asian regions, and acquiring knowledge of application system architecture and banking business, especially for cross-border payments.
