Cécile Bascoul

Cécile Bascoul, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Product Safety at doTERRA International LLC, overseeing safety risk identification and program development for essential oil-based products globally. Prior roles at doTERRA include Interim Director of Quality Control and Pharmacognosist (Toxicologist), where responsibilities encompassed compliance with product specifications and conducting safety evaluations. Cécile's previous experience includes various scientific positions at Vapogenix Inc., focusing on analgesic development and clinical research, and work at Q Chip Ltd. on biopharmaceutical technologies. With a Ph.D. in Biosciences from Cardiff University and extensive research experience, Cécile has contributed to projects in dietary supplements and molecular biology throughout her career, further enhancing expertise in the fields of biotechnology and product safety.
