Malia Kaaihue is an accomplished entrepreneur and academic with extensive leadership experience. As the founder and president of DTL Hawaii since January 2013, Malia has demonstrated expertise in business development. In addition to leading DTL Hawaii, Malia established ‘Āina Archaeology and Aloha Modern in 2016, and has held the title of Founder 2.0 & Blue Diamond at doTERRA International LLC since May 2020. Malia's prior role as Chief Knowledge Officer at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs from January 2011 to February 2012 highlights a commitment to indigenous knowledge and governance. Malia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, completed in 2008.
