Junyoung Kim

Junyoung Kim is a UX Designer specializing in hardware at Dot Inc. since July 2022, where responsibilities include designing user-friendly hardware experiences informed by Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience research. Dot Inc., recognized as a certified B Corporation and social venture, aims to eliminate barriers for blind, low-vision, and mobility-impaired individuals. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at ZIBOT INC. from February 2018 to January 2019, and an internship at the same company, which focuses on integrating hardware with educational content for children. Junyoung also served as a Mechanic Soldier in the Republic of Korea Air Force from August 2014 to August 2016. Educational qualifications include a Professional Master of Design-Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & System Design Engineering from Hongik University.
