Andrei Furdui

Andrei Furdui is a Machine Learning Engineer at dotLumen since May 2022, where the focus is on developing glasses that assist the blind. Prior experience includes a role as a Computer Vision Engineer at Bosch Romania from February 2021 to May 2022 and a Master Thesis Project at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, which involved researching Convolutional and Self-Attention modules in Generative Models. Earlier professional experience includes a Junior Software Engineer position at Recognos Romania, where Andrei contributed to a data extraction platform, and volunteer work at BEST Cluj-Napoca in fundraising and IT. Andrei holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
