Zach Baharov

Lead Animator at Double Fine Productions

Zach Baharov has a strong background in animation and technical art, with experience in various roles at different companies. Zach began their career as a Technical Artist Intern at Electronic Arts (EA) in 2006. Zach then joined Electronic Arts - Waystone Games in 2007 as a Technical & Visual Effects Artist and later transitioned into the role of Character Animator & Visual Effects Artist. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Lead Animator & Rigger/Technical Artist at Electronic Arts - Waystone Games. In 2016, they joined Double Fine Productions as a Senior Animator and later became the Lead Animator in 2017.

Zach Baharov has a comprehensive education history in the field of animation. Zach attended Northwestern University from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a double-major in Film and Computing & Information Systems. Zach also obtained a minor in Animate Arts during their time at Northwestern. Following this, from 2008 to 2012, Zach attended Animation Mentor and specialized in Character Animation and Creature Animation. In 2014, they enrolled at Animation Collaborative to further enhance their skills in Advanced Character Animation Critique. Later, in 2015 and 2016, Zach attended Gobelins L'École de L'Image, focusing on 3D Animation.
