Maggie Zeman has had a long and varied career in public relations and marketing. Maggie started their career in 1985 as a Public Affairs Officer for the US Agency for International Development. In 1993, they moved to KidSoft as the Director of Public Relations. Maggie then joined Netscape in 1997 as Manager/Director of Public Relations. In 1998, they became the Vice President of West Coast Communications for America Online. In 2000, they founded Margaret M. Young Consulting as the Principal. In 2001, they joined Treasury Wine Estates as the Director of Public Relations, creating and executing public relations activities on behalf of major wine brands. In 2006, they founded The Barn Group PR and Marketing as the Managing Director. Finally, in 2011, they joined Double Forte as SVP, GM New York and Managing Director of The Barn Group/SVP Double Forte.
Maggie Zeman attended Washington State University from 1981 to 1985 and earned a degree in Liberal Arts, with a focus in English and Communications. In 2019, they completed a course in Executive Leadership and High-Velocity Decision-Making for Today's Leaders at Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2005, they obtained their Court of Master Sommeliers Level 1 certification, and in 2001, they completed their Culinary Institute of America Level I & II Mastering Wine certification.
