Andy Burton

Andy Burton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the horticultural and consulting industries. Currently the Founder of The Horti House since January 2023, Andy leads efforts to innovate houseplant wholesale for UK garden centres, florists, and hospitality venues. Previously, Andy served as Managing Director and Operations Manager at Double H Nurseries Ltd, overseeing the delivery of 4.5 million ornamental house plants annually to major UK supermarkets. Andy's earlier roles include Principal Consultant at Newton Europe Limited, where operational improvement projects were implemented across various sectors, and Senior Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on supply chain strategy for diverse public and private clients. Additionally, Andy contributed to the Whole Engine Modelling team at Rolls-Royce, developing a mathematical model for evaluating manufacturing tolerances in gas turbine engines. Educationally, Andy holds an MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bath.
