Emily Shuman

Emily Shuman is a dedicated student at Syracuse University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences, expected to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as President of the Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, Emily has been actively involved since initiation in spring 2021. Emily's experience includes interning at the Dr. Sarah Loguen Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital, working with infants. As a camp counselor and adaptive ski instructor at Double H Ranch, Emily volunteers to ensure children with medical diagnoses experience safe and enjoyable activities. Additionally, Emily served as an Emergency Medical Technician at WAVES EMS, where responsibilities included leading BLS calls and assisting in ALS responses.
