Marcela Andrade Barrera

Marcela Andrade Barrera has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Marcela started their career as an Intern at EY, working in CBS. Marcela then worked as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at Sears Authorized Hometown Stores, LLC. After that, they took on the role of Perfilador Bilingüe at Oracle, where they created and updated databases for customer validation. Marcela then joined Avianca as an Auxiliar de Talento Humano, where they managed payroll and employee benefits. Later, they worked at Olimpia - Líderes en Seguridad de la información as an Analista de Talento Humano, responsible for various HR processes. Marcela then moved to Domicilios.com as a Talent Acquisition Manager, focusing on digital media strategies and organizational principles. Marcela continued their HR career at MUY as the Head of Human Resources in Colombia. Marcela then joined mipOS as a Human Resources Associate, responsible for strategic HR processes in Colombia and Mexico. Most recently, Marcela has been working at Double V Partners as the People & Admin Director and subsequently promoted to Chief People Officer.

Marcela Andrade Barrera has a diverse education background. Marcela completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from Universidad EAFIT in 2023. Prior to that, in 2020, they pursued a Diplomado en Gestión Estratégica de Talento Humano por Competencias in the field of Human Resources Management/Administration at Universidad Manuela Beltrán. Marcela also holds a degree in Psicología (Psychology) from the same university, which they obtained between 2014 and 2020. In addition, they completed a program on First Aid for the community at Secretaría Distrital de Salud in 2016 and studied English at Centro Colombo Americano in 2013-2014. Furthermore, they acquired skills in HR management and personnel administration as a Técnico en Nómina y Prestaciones Sociales from the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) in 2012-2013.
