Scott Gaumer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott started their career at Ventritex, Inc. as a Software Engineer in 1993, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at LifeScan, Johnson & Johnson from 1995 to 1996. Scott then worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Integrated Systems, Inc. from 1996 to 1998.
In 1998, Gaumer joined Engage, Inc. as a Principal Engineer and stayed there until 2001 when they transitioned to Becton Dickinson Biosciences as an Engineering Manager. After working at Becton Dickinson Biosciences for three years, Gaumer joined GE Healthcare as a Software Development Manager in 2004.
Gaumer later joined Applied Precision, Inc. in 2005 as a Sr. Manager, Engineering, and remained in this role until 2012. In 2013, they moved to GE Healthcare Life Sciences (Applied Precision) as a Director, Development (R&D) until 2015. Currently, Gaumer is the Director of Life Science at Double Helix Optics, where they have been since November 2015.
Throughout their career, Gaumer has held various roles in software development, engineering management, and director-level positions.
Scott Gaumer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California State University, Chico in 1992.
