Jennifer Wilson has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles within the media industry. Jennifer started their career as a Senior Writer at CBC in 2007 before transitioning to the Toronto Star as a Summer Copy-Editor in 2008. Jennifer also worked as an Editor at Yourhome.ca, Toronto Star, where they were responsible for commissioning, writing, copy editing, and packaging editorial content. Additionally, they freelanced as a writer, copy editor, and researcher for Speedy, contributing to various topics such as home decor, fashion, video games, and wellness.

In 2013, Jennifer joined Rogers Communications as a Manager of Social Media Properties, where they managed and organized proactive messaging across social media platforms for three different brands. Following this, they worked as a Senior Editor of Social Media at the Toronto Star, responsible for publishing, news gathering, training, and governance across various social media platforms.

Jennifer then joined Twitter in 2016, initially as a Canada Lead for Twitter Moments & Curation Standards Manager, Global English. In this role, they were responsible for creating and implementing content standards and policies for a globally distributed team. Later, Jennifer became the Head of Curation Standards, leading the creation and operationalization of an evolving Standards functional team.

Most recently, Jennifer is working at DoubleVerify as the Lead of Product Policy, starting in 2023.

Jennifer Wilson studied at the University of King's College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Combined Honours Bachelor degree in Journalism and Political Science. Jennifer'sfields of study included Journalism, English, Political Science, and History. Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing at the same university, with an expected completion date in the future. Jennifer also has additional certifications, including a JournalismAI Discovery certification from Polis LSE and a Digital Analytics Fundamentals certification from Google Analytics Academy.
