John Barnard

John Barnard has a diverse work experience in the field of geospatial and land surveying technology. John currently holds the position of Vice President, Geospatial at Doucet & Associates, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Principal and Survey West Regional Manager at Bowman Consulting from January 2013 to December 2019. From September 2007 to August 2014, they worked as an Adjunct Professor in Land Surveying Technology and Geomatics at Austin Community College. John also worked as the Chief Surveyor at Loomis Partners, Inc. from May 2004 to January 2013, and as a Staff Surveyor at Metcalfe & Sanders from May 1995 to May 2004.

John Barnard attended Austin High School. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Geography at The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed in 1999.
