Shannon Gonzalez

Shannon Gonzalez, FCIP, CRBA, currently serves as an Investigator at the Insurance Council of BC since March 2022 and holds the position of Course Facilitator at Douglas College since November 2018. With extensive experience in insurance education, Shannon has been an Instructor for the Insurance Institute of Canada since 2008, developing courses and instructional material. Previous roles include President of the Canadian Insurance Claims Manager Association (CICMA) from June 2018 to March 2022, and Insurance Manager at BCAA from November 2017 to February 2022. Shannon has also contributed as a Volunteer Instructional Facilitator for SMART Recovery at Vancouver Coastal Health. An educator with a strong background in insurance and management, Shannon's academic credentials include degrees and certifications from several institutions, such as the Insurance Institute of Canada and the University of Regina.
