Jeremy Poell is an experienced environmental health specialist with a focus on regulatory compliance and public health. Currently employed at the Douglas County Health Department since June 2016, Jeremy investigates complaints and enforces environmental health regulations. Previously, as the Indoor Air Quality Program Manager at the State of Nebraska from July 2009 to June 2016, Jeremy managed multiple environmental health programs and ensured compliance with the Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act. Prior roles include Health Industrial Hygiene Specialist and Project Manager, overseeing safety compliance in asbestos and lead-related projects. Jeremy holds a Certificate of Public Health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
