Andrew Abner

Andrew Abner has served in various educational leadership roles within the Douglas County School District since July 2002, including Deputy Superintendent and Principal of Rock Canyon High School. Responsibilities encompass employee hiring, evaluation, professional development, community engagement, conflict resolution, and management of academic activities and athletics. Additionally, Andrew Abner has collaborated on academic programming, developed incentive programs for staff and students, and led initiatives related to attendance, discipline, and at-risk programming. Prior to this, Andrew Abner was a teacher at Neuqua Valley High School from July 1998 to July 2002. Education includes a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology/Education from Illinois State University.
