Cathy Franklin

Cathy Franklin is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for Douglas County School District since January 2014. In this role, Cathy acts as the principal advisor on HR activities, including employee relations, labor relations, training, recruitment and retention, performance management, and employment law, while also contributing to the design and automation of HR processes. Prior to this position, Cathy held the role of Human Resources Manager at Arrow Electronics from November 2006 to April 2013, providing strategic leadership and facilitating organization development. Additionally, Cathy built the human resources department at Alternative Technology from November 2004 to November 2006, developing and implementing employment policies in compliance with legal regulations. Cathy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from Regis University, earned between 2010 and 2014.
