Betina Gillham Young

Betina Gillham Young has extensive experience in education and customer service. Since August 2006, Betina has worked as a Teacher and Gifted Teacher in the Douglas County School System, following a tenure as a Substitute Teacher from August 2003 to May 2006. Prior to their career in education, Betina held roles at Chick-fil-A Restaurants as a Cashier, Cook, and Prep from October 2000 to August 2003, and at McDonald's Corporation as a Shift Manager from October 1994 to September 2000. Betina also served as a Shift Manager at Dairy Queen for a brief period in 1994 and worked as an Analyst in the US Army from June 1990 to July 1993. Betina obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Mercer University, where studies took place from 2003 to 2006.
