Michelle Bonds

Michelle Bonds is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in elementary education, currently serving as a teacher in the Douglas County School System since 2006. Over the years, Michelle has taught various grade levels, including Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, and has held roles such as Title 1 Reading and Math Resource Teacher and Title 1 Interventionist. Leadership positions include serving on the Leadership Team, School Council, and Parent Advisory Committee. Michelle has contributed significantly to school initiatives, including writing the Title 1 School Wide plan and serving on the County Technology Committee. Previous experience includes teaching at Henry County Public Schools and N E Miles Jewish Day School, where Michelle was recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2004-2005. Michelle holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, both from the University of Montevallo.
