Patrick Joiner

Patrick Joiner is an experienced educator currently serving as a 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher for the Douglas County School System since June 2023. Previous positions include Middle School Teacher and Middle School English Language Arts Teacher in the Richmond County School System, and Middle School Social Studies Teacher for the Columbia County Board of Education. Additional teaching experience includes roles as a 4k Teacher, Preschool Teacher, and English Second Language Teacher at various educational institutions. Patrick co-founded The INITIATIVE, an organization focused on mentoring at-risk youth and college students, and worked as Enrichment Staff for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Prior military service includes a position in Armament Systems with the US Air Force. Patrick is pursuing a Master of Arts in Pedagogy at Thomas University, building on previous degrees in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.
