Ricky Romero

Ricky Romero has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Detective at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office since January 2023. Prior roles include Deputy Sheriff and various positions at the City of Aurora, where Ricky worked as a Field Training Officer, Narcotics Investigator, and Police Officer from November 2012 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as a SWAT member at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and as a Field Training Officer at the City of Lone Tree, CO. Additional law enforcement background includes working as a Police Officer in the City of Sheridan, Colorado, and serving as a Military Police Officer in the United States Marine Corps from February 1997 to February 2002. Ricky has also been a team leader for an Infantry Soldier in the Army National Guard since October 2008.
