Mário Ferreira has extensive work experience, beginning in 1993 when they became the owner of Douro Azul. From there, they went on to become the CEO of Douro Azul, SGPS. In 2003, they became the President of Mystic Cruises. Currently, they hold the position of Presidente do Conselho de Administração at Grupo Media Capital since November 2020.
Mário Ferreira completed a Licenciatura in Gestão de Empresas Turísticas (Tourism Business Management) from the Universidade Lusófona do Porto between 2009 and 2011. Mário also obtained a certification as Auditor de Defesa Nacional (National Defense Auditor) from the Instituto da Defesa Nacional in 2005. Additionally, they pursued Advanced Management studies at the IESE Business School from 2006 to 2007.
