Lauren DiSalvo

Lauren DiSalvo holds a PhD in Art History and Archaeology and is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Utah Tech University where she has the privilege to do what she loves- teaching art history. Lauren grew up on the East Coast, but came to St. George via the Midwest and is just astounded by the beautiful Southern Utah vistas she gets to enjoy while running and hiking. Lauren first became involved with DOVE Center as a volunteer at the shelter and then later as a member of the Hospital Advocacy Response Team. Having had the opportunity to see the impact of DOVE Center first hand, she is a strong believer in DOVE’s mission to empower survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence.
