Coby Richter

Since 2006, Coby Richter has been an integral part of our surgery team. She performs emergency and elective procedures on small animals, as well as trains interns and externs in surgical principals and techniques. She also works closely with other specialists at DoveLewis to provide the best possible care for challenging hospitalized cases.

As an undergrad student, Dr. Richter knew that surgery and veterinary medicine was the right path for her when she realized that animal doctors never stop learning. While our hospital sees many "typical" emergencies, she says every case is different and challenging in its own way. Working with interns and residents also keeps her energized and constantly learning.
