Kasturi Sarkar

Kasturi Sarkar is currently a Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) M2 Representative and Honors Council Representative at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where Kasturi is also pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree. Previously, Kasturi has held the position of Clinical Research Assistant at Arkansas Children's, focusing on research for children with asthma, and served as an Editor for DoveMed, creating medical quizzes. Kasturi has extensive experience at the University of California, Berkeley, where roles included Communications Director and Operations Chair for the Cal Alumni Student Association, as well as various positions within research labs studying digital anthropology, public health, and human evolution. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and distinctions as a cum laude graduate from Little Rock Central High School.
