Umakant Katu

Umakant Katu is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product development and engineering management, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Dover Food Retail since July 2021. Responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of Refrigerator Display Cases with a focus on natural refrigerants. Previously, Umakant held various roles at Whirlpool Corporation, including Senior Engineering Manager, where leadership in new product development for refrigeration was emphasized. Prior to Whirlpool, experience included positions at Tech Mahindra and Hodek Vibration Technologies, focusing on design engineering and vibration consultancy.
