Mikaela Parker currently serves as Deputy Director of Student Wellbeing and Deputy Head of Pastoral Care at d'Overbroeck's, where responsibilities also include teaching Biology and Chemistry since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Cheney School as Head of Student Progress for Year 7, Transition Lead, and Head of Year 11, as well as teaching Science from September 2017 to August 2019. At Discovery Bay International School, Mikaela held the position of Head of Year 10 and 11 while teaching Biology and Chemistry from September 2013 to August 2017. Earlier, Mikaela was an Advanced Skills Science Teacher at St Augustine's CE High School from July 2005 to August 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences: Western Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster, a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Worcester.
