Lindsay Coonan

Lindsay Coonan is an experienced educator currently serving as the Lead Teacher in Early Childhood Education at Dow Bay Area Family YMCA since November 2021. Previously, Lindsay held teaching roles at Bay-Arenac ISD and Merrill Elementary School, where responsibilities included developing lesson plans aligned with common core standards and creating engaging learning experiences for students. Prior experience includes substitute teaching and roles in the hospitality industry as a purchaser and chef/owner of Lindsay Truffler, LLC. Lindsay holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University.
