Shelby Fishman

Shelby Fishman is an accomplished journalist with a strong background in editing and content production. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor at MarketWatch Commerce since August 2022, Shelby has also held the position of Assistant Editor for Custom Content at Barron's Group. Prior experience includes a role as a Production Intern at the American Enterprise Institute and Assistant Commerce Editor at MarketWatch. Shelby began a career in journalism at SMU-TV, progressing from Junior Executive Producer to Senior Executive Producer, while also serving as a reporter. Additional internships include time at Modern Luxury and SMU Look Magazine. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University.
