Alan Kobar

Alan Kobar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical and manufacturing industries, currently serving as the Global Improvement Leader at Dow since March 2006, where responsibility includes leading technology and operational improvements for the Coatings business across the Americas. Prior roles at Dow include Global Process Safety Director, managing process safety for over 40 manufacturing sites, and Process Engineering Leader, overseeing a global engineering group. Previously, Alan Kobar worked at Ecolab as Maintenance Manager & Plant Engineer, ensuring the safe operation of production equipment, and at Air Products and Chemicals as a Demand Planner and Process Engineer. Alan Kobar holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
