Isabel Angulo

Isabel Angulo currently serves as an Improvement Engineer at Dow since August 2023, following a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Swette Center for Environmental Biotechnology, where research focused on the kinetic rates of hydrogen peroxide consumption by microorganisms for water treatment from August 2022 to May 2023. Previously, Isabel gained experience as a Process Engineer at Ecolab and held multiple positions within SHPE de ASU, including Director of Public Relations and Outreach Director of Jr. Chapters. Isabel also contributed to research at the Swette Center focusing on Microbial Peroxide Producing Cells and served as an Office Aide in the ASU Math & Stats Undergrad Department. Further complementing these roles, Isabel interned at Nalco Water, achieving significant water savings through process improvements, and provided mathematical tutoring to support incarcerated individuals at the Newton Project. Isabel earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University in May 2023, following a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution in 2022.
