Jerry Rowley is an experienced HPC Systems Architect at Dow since August 2011, leading significant upgrades to the company's high-performance computing environment including the integration of Direct Liquid Cooling and overseeing a capital cycle for infrastructure upgrades. Prior to Dow, Jerry served as a Database Administrator at Purdue University for the NEESComm project and held various roles at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, managing advanced database projects and serving as the deployment lead for the caBIG initiative. Earlier career experiences include project management in software systems at ID Analytics and Emaimai Hong Kong, along with software engineering roles at HP and Coconut Computing, and systems programming at Liant Software. Jerry's foundational experience began at Central Michigan University, where Jerry worked as a computer technician and database designer while earning a BS in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering Technology.
