Kathy Plotzke is a seasoned professional in health and environmental sciences with extensive experience at The Dow Chemical Company, where Kathy has served as Chief Health and Environmental Scientist for Consumer Solutions since January 2017. Prior to this role, Kathy was with Dow Corning for nearly 25 years, holding various positions including Director of Health & Environmental Regulatory Issues Management and Director of Health and Environmental Sciences. Kathy began the career as a Toxicology Specialist and quickly advanced to Manager of Toxicology. Earlier experiences include a role as a Graduate Student Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Michigan and a Technologist/Chemist position at Dow Chemical. Kathy holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University.
