Kurt Koppi is an R&D Fellow at The Dow Chemical Company, where they apply fundamental research skills to solve technical problems and develop new commercial opportunities, primarily focusing on polymer processing and part fabrication. They received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they also served as a Teaching and Research Assistant. Earlier in their career, Kurt completed a summer internship in the Exploratory Research Department at Kerr-McGee Corporation, working on supercritical fluid extraction of asphaltenes. Kurt holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
