Laura Dietsche is an expert in Fluid Mechanics and Mixing with extensive experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Currently holding the position of R&D Fellow at Dow, Laura also serves as a Principal Research Scientist and Research Leader in Core R&D, where Laura focuses on developing new CFD capabilities. Prior to their current role, Laura worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a PostDoc, where Laura created an ASPEN model of a mixed waste treatment process. With a background in Chemical Engineering, Laura obtained their PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, following their Bachelor of Science degree from the same institution.
