Marcelo Alves

Marcelo Alves has extensive experience in the chemical and petrochemical industries, with a career spanning over three decades. Early in the career, Marcelo worked as a Manufacturing Operator at Braskem Petroquímica S.A. and Unigel, focusing on plant operations. At Dow from 2010 to 2013, Marcelo held various roles, including Business Supply Chain Planner for Isocyanates and Supply Chain Improvement Leader, where responsibilities included leading supply chain processes, managing inventory across marine terminals, and optimizing operations for cost efficiency. Marcelo's expertise is supported by a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Salvador, an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a background in Electricity Teaching from UNEB - Universidade do Estado da Bahia.
