Dennis E. Murphree is the Managing Partner of Murphree Venture Partners and The Southern Funds Group. His funds have invested in 110 companies since 1975. He is a 30-year professor at Rice University and teaches two second-year MBA courses in Entrepreneurship. An active public speaker all over the U.S., Dennis has also served on over 50 corporate boards in his career. His BA in Economics is from SMU and his MBA is from The Wharton School.
