Darren Schenk

Darren Schenk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Bid Manager at Downer since September 2022, Darren has also held the position of Director at MKL Engineering Services since March 2011, where responsibilities include business development, contract negotiation, and financial management. Previously, Darren worked as Operations Manager for Wajarri Yamaji Group, overseeing daily operations during a leadership transition, and as Engineering Manager at MMS Mining Pty Ltd, successfully leading projects for major clients. Earlier roles include Maintenance Engineer at HWE Mining Pty Limited and Maintenance Planning Engineer at Eltin Underground Operations, with foundational experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Pacific Power.
