Shane Day

Shane Day is an experienced leader in asset management, currently serving as the Asset Management & RAM Discipline Manager and Head of Asset & Data Management Office at Downer since February 2018. In this role, Shane has focused on embedding asset management frameworks and best practices across the organization, enhancing performance and lifecycle management of customer assets. Prior to Downer, Shane held key positions at Arup, including GM Asset Management Major Projects, and contributed to rail projects through various asset management roles, including Asset Manager for Rail and Asset Performance Manager. Shane's career began with Bombardier Transportation as a Reliability and Performance Engineer and includes a foundational period as an Avionics Technician with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Shane is a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) and holds a Certified Associate in Asset Management (CAAM) certification.
