Surya Rohit Damaraju

Surya Rohit Damaraju is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in power systems and renewable energy. At Downer, from August 2022 to July 2023, Surya served as an Electrical Design Engineer, focusing on protection grading and skills development, and previously worked as an Electrical Project Engineer for substations, managing documentation and project logs. Prior experience includes managing daily operations as a Site Manager at Solarig and serving as an Electrical Engineer coordinating grid control observations. Before that, experience as a Production Assistant at Caronlab Australia and an intern at NTPC Limited provided foundational skills in engineering and project support. Surya holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Renewable Energy from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.
