Steve Perkins

Steve Perkins, Ed.D, currently serves as Principal at Downers Grove School District 58 and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, teaching educational methods courses. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Steve held the role of Associate Principal at Arlington Heights School District 25, where responsibilities included mentoring staff, leading recruitment, and implementing instructional strategies aligned with DEI best practices. Previous experience as a Social Studies Teacher at Des Moines Public Schools provided a strong foundation in curriculum design and instruction. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from National Louis University, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Drake University, and a Bachelor's in Education, also from Drake University.
