Michael Davenport is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in the field since 1987. Currently a partner at Davenport Architects, established in May 1997, Michael holds licenses in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. In addition to architectural practice, Michael serves as the Chairperson of the Building Board of Appeals for the Village of Downers Grove, Illinois, a position held since 2005, having also chaired the Architectural Design Review Board from 2005 to 2011 and 2016 to 2020. Previous roles include Project Manager at Patrick Engineering and Architect positions at Tilton + Lewis and Fujikawa Johnson Gobel Architects, where significant contributions were made to multiple commercial and governmental projects. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, completed in 1989.
