Andy Baker, PE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Andy started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Baker Hughes - Hughes Christensen in 1995, where they created new tool design layouts and developed test features. Andy then moved on to Baker Hughes, a GE company, where they held multiple roles including Product Development Engineer and Engineering Manager from 2004 to 2008. In these positions, they led multidisciplinary teams to develop new products, set objectives for functional experts, and conducted laboratory and field tests.

Afterwards, Andy worked as a Plant Manager at BAKER HUGHES SAUDI ARABIA CO from 2008 to 2010, where they were responsible for all aspects of financial, operational, quality, and safety performance. Andy developed and implemented strategies to meet targets in HSE, quality, production, and finance, and monitored manpower and machine utilization.

From 2010 to 2011, Andy worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Baker Hughes, a GE company, where they directed daily activities for three production teams and implemented plans to improve productivity, safety, and quality. Andy also implemented Lean Manufacturing strategies to enhance equipment utilization.

In 2011, Andy joined FMC Technologies as a Product Development Engineer, where they managed new product development projects and executed product qualification tests. Andy then moved to TechnipFMC in 2013 as a Lead Sustaining Engineer, leading product standardization and rationalization projects and managing safety and quality projects.

Most recently, Andy has been working as a Product Engineer at Downing Wellhead Equipment since November 2017. Overall, their extensive experience and varied roles highlight their expertise in product development, engineering management, and manufacturing supervision.

Andy Baker, PE obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995.
