Ann Berrios Ed.d.

Ann Berrios, Ed.D. has extensive experience in the field of education, with a focus on special education and pupil services. Ann currently holds the position of Director of Pupil Services at Downingtown Area School District since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Supervisor of Special Education at the same district from July 2015 to June 2023.

In addition to their district-level roles, Dr. Berrios has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Millersville University of Pennsylvania since January 2015. Ann previously worked as a Special Education Teacher at Lampeter-Strasburg School District from August 2012 to August 2015, and as an Emotional Support Teacher at Lancaster Lebanon IU 13 from January 2005 to August 2012.

Ann Berrios, Ed.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education / Elementary Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in the year 2004. In 2010, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education from Eastern Mennonite University. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Post-masters Supervisory Certification in Special Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Finally, in 2020, Ann Berrios earned their Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University.
