Dr. Kecia Nesmith

Dr. Kecia Nesmith is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in instructional leadership and curriculum development within K-12 education. Currently serving as Principal and Curriculum Supervisor at Downingtown Area School District since July 2019, Dr. Nesmith leads innovative practices in online education and is dedicated to ensuring equity and culturally-responsive approaches. Additionally, Dr. Nesmith holds positions as an Education Leadership Consultant, School Board Member for Red Clay Consolidated School District, and has previously served as School Board President at Cecil College. Dr. Nesmith's commitment to transformative leadership is further reflected in a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Delaware, along with multiple advanced degrees in education and leadership.
