Haley Schmidt

Haley Schmidt possesses a diverse professional background in education, healthcare, and customer service. Currently serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Downingtown Area School District since September 2020, Haley also works as a Sales Assistant and Social Media Assistant for Tom James Company. Previous roles include serving as a Primary Instructional Coordinator and Instructional Coordinator at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health and a Recreation Therapy Intern at Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute and Easter Seals Central PA. Additional experience includes working as an Enrichment Provider at Martin Library, a server at Isaacs Deli Restaurants, and a childcare provider for multiple families. Haley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from York College of Pennsylvania in 2017, following a strong academic foundation at Lampeter-Strasburg High School.
