Makenzie Burt

Makenzie Burt is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Downingtown Area School District since July 2022. Previously, Makenzie held the position of 3rd Grade Teacher at Chester Upland School District and was a Manager on Duty at acac Fitness & Wellness Center. Makenzie has experience as a Substitute Teacher and has been involved in various roles within acac, including KidZone Team Lead and Summer Camp Manager. As a founding member of Kappa Delta Sorority's Theta Omicron Chapter, Makenzie held leadership positions such as Vice President of Standards and Panhellenic President at West Chester University, overseeing a large community of students. Makenzie possesses a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree at the same institution.
