Margie Miller

Margie Miller is the current director at Downingtown Area School District. Margie has been in education for over 10 years. Before their current position, they were a preschool teacher at The Compass School from August 2013 to August 2014. Prior to that, they were a site director at Minnieland Private Day School, Inc. from February 2010 to August 2010. There, they were responsible for the overall operation of the school aged care program for Porter Elementary School. This included supervision and evaluation of staff performance, facilitation of a nurturing environment, management of site finances and reporting weekly to corporate office. Margie also has experience leading weekly staff meetings, maintaining student and staff files, directing and participating in active educational games, enforcing health and safety regulations and developing positive relationships with school staff, administration and parents.
