Mlis Meghan Pealer

Meghan Pealer, MLIS, currently serves as a Librarian and Media Specialist for Downingtown Area School District since August 2021. Prior to this role, Meghan worked as a Children's Librarian at Malvern Public Library, where responsibilities included planning story times, developing collections, and assisting patrons. Additional experience includes a part-time position as a Children's Circulation Assistant at Tredyffrin Public Library, a Lower School Support Teacher at Benchmark School, and various roles within the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, including Reading Paraprofessional, Homework Club Teacher, and Classroom Aide. Meghan also has a background in retail as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble and was an Assistant Dance Teacher at Turning Pointe Dance Studio. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from PennWest Clarion and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Immaculata University, with ongoing studies towards a Master of Education in STEM Education.
